This is the FTP directory of Carlo C. Maley

I have included subdirectories for a number of my different research
projects.

PARASITES: a directory with various versions of a paper on the evolution
of virulence in parasites (published in Artificial Life IV, Brooks and
Maes (eds.))

	virulence.tex	= a latex file that requires the "alife.sty" file.
	virulence.ps.Z  = a compressed postscript version of that file.



SYM: short for "symbiosis" these are the code files for a collaborative
project developing a model for the evolution of symbiosis and
parasitism.  It was very much inspired by ECHO and is still under
development.



MUTATION: a directory containing a paper based on a model of the
evolution of mutation rates as well as longevity in an abstract
population.  It was inspired by the thoughts of R.C. Lewontin.

	lewontin.tex = a latex file that requires the bibliography 
			file lewontin.bib, and the postscript files
			mutation.ps and poissons.ps.
	lewontin.ps.Z = a compressed postscript file of the above paper.
