This directory (ftp.ai.mit.edu:/pub/users/dam/vags) contains the VAG
(Variationa Attributre Grammar) system.  A paper describing the VAG
language is contained in the file manual.ps in this directory.
This paper serves as both a theoretical treatment and a manual for
the software in this directory.  Instructions for loading and
running the system are given in section 4 (page 30) of that document.
