Sunil Mishra is an incoming PhD student at the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His primary interest is in artificial intelligence, specifically in learning, reasoning and explanation. His advisor currently is Prof. Ashwin Ram.
Sunil received his BS in computer science from the EECS department at Northwestern University in Evanston. Most of his undergraduate work was associated with the Qualitative Reasoning Group at the Institute for the Learning Sciences at Northwestern University. His advisor there was Prof. Kenneth D. Forbus, and his work was in the area of verification based analogical learning.
