TROUBLE WITH CARS

	
be careful! dangerous stuff!

prevention! decent battery, good coolant, use dri gas. decent tires.
		right grade of oil. 10/30? 5/30?
			
Cooling system: 
	enough anti freeze? 50/50 ?  tester...

	duct tape for hose repairs

	carry pre mix if car is a leaker or is old
		(water freezes when you need it)

	overheated -- boils over
		one of the few truly life threatening emergencies for a car
		like no breathing in a person...

		spit test
		ok to drive when boiling in full jackets
		how to add water -- spit bottle
		watch out!

starting problems:
	need: turning, spark and fuel air mixture

	park on a hill?

	turns to slow -- 
		battery is weak
		oil is thick
		booster cables
		push small car?
		heat pan with stove?

	spark too weak	?
		test by pulling wire
		how to start sluggish car...

		ether (dangerous stuff...)

	water, or ice
		why (condensation)
		keep tank full! 
		use dry gas!

		runs then stops... 
		frozen fuel line... tow job?
