Subject:quick thank-you! & update
--------
Hi Kurt,

Thank you for being so nice, helpful, and real, the entire time (times :) we talked last week, at the MIT career fair (I was the SWE volunteer for taking care of you guys, remember?!). It was a long day but I actually did have quite a bit a lot of fun, helping out with the companies, meeting recruiters, catching up with friends, and getting excited by all the work being done...

It was really cool of you to tell me a little bit about the companies you knew of. Things have been happening very fast, especially with the smaller companies, and I'm going to be in L.A. next week, interviewing... I mentioned to you that I'd be interested in career opportunities with Nortel in the L.A. area (L.A., Simi Valley, Long Beach, ?). Nortel's doing cool stuff, and I think I could really get into it (excuse the formal language, please :) but I've looked at the Nortel website, and none of the positions seem to fit that well... just in case, though, i'll give you another copy of my resume, below. :)

Hope you and your entire family of recruiters are doing well, and having a fun weekend. Thanks again, I really enjoyed meeting you. Take care,
Stephanie
