Lake Lanier Sailing Club is located 45 miles northeast of Atlanta. It is easily
accessible by interstate and air travel. Ramp launching is available
Directions:
From the Northeast:
I-85 South to Exit 49, Ga. 53 at mile marker 130; take Ga 53 west to; I-985 South; Go South
and Take Exit 3, Flowery Branch; turn right (West) off exit ramp, take the 1st right fork,
Go until the road dead ends into Atlanta hwy.at the RR tracks; turn right; go 1/10 mile to
the first left across the RR tracks, spring St; go to the end and turn right onto
gainesville st; take this through the light at mcever rd; 2.2 more miles and llsc is on the
left.
From the South of Atlanta:
Leave Atlanta on I-85 north to I-985 North; take Exit 3, Sprout Springs Rd; Follow
directions above.

1995 Snipe North American Championships

The North Americans are the Result of the Dedicated efforts of Fleets
330&781 and sponsored by Douglas Gill Sailing Gear and Sidewinder
Masts, with support from Atlanta Coca-Cola Bottlers, and Leon Farmer
Distributors.
* Each Skipper must be a member of SCIRA and an owner or co-owner of a Snipe. Sails,
hull weight and safety equipment will be measured.
* The Birney Mills Trophy and Kim Thompson Trophy will be awarded to the winning
skipper and crew respectively. Keeper trophies will be awarded to the top seven
crews, top master, and top woman skipper.
* Limited housing is available through pre-registration. LLSC has beautiful campgrounds
available. There are several hotels available in oakwood, ga (10 minute drive)

* Boat storage is available until AYC's Halloween Regatta. Regatta information is

* Sorry NO PETS ALLOWEDON CLUB GROUNDS. Please park in designated parking areas in
consideration of club members' boats in dry storage areas.
* Sailing supplies are readily available within a short distance from LLSC at
Weathermark Inc. (945-0788)

Entry Fee: $85.00 (After 10/1 + $25.00)
Junior Entry Fee: $60.00
Non-USSA fee $5.00

Lanier Sailing Club and all other persons or organizations involved in putting on the
Regatta (Collectively the hosts ) from any liability for any claims of any kind for any
reason, arising out of or in any way connected to my participation in the Regatta.
